STUDIO & GENERAL APPOINTMENTS (These terms apply to all non-bridal studio bookings)
DEPOSITS: A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required via the online booking system to secure your spot. Without payment, your booking is not secured.
PAYMENT: One payment transaction of the full remaining amount is due in person at your appointment. All remaining funds must be processed prior to leaving your appointment.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time, including no-shows, will incur a charge for the full booking amount. All payments are non-refundable.
RESCHEDULING: Rescheduling is at the team's discretion. No appointments can hold a secondary "backup" date; if it is not rescheduled on the spot, the date remains open to the public.
BRIDAL SERVICES (Aligned identically with the By Sabrina Walsh Bridal Contract)
PAYMENTS: To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable and non-transferable $300 booking fee is required. This amount will be deducted from the total invoice. Your date is secured once the booking fee has been received and the contract has been signed. The full remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your wedding date. A reminder email will be sent prior to the final payment due date, and a confirmation email will be sent once payment has been received. Please note that all pricing is subject to 10% GST. A 20% public holiday surcharge applies to all bookings held on public holidays.
BOOKINGS: Once the booking is confirmed, the number of people and applications included cannot be reduced or removed, and the original confirmed booking total remains payable in full, regardless of any changes to the number of people requiring makeup. Sabrina only schedules one wedding booking per day, ensuring you have her undivided attention and full creative energy on your wedding day. Sabrina is available to begin at the required start time to have you and your party ready on time. An early morning fee applies to all bookings with a start time before 6am. Before departing, Sabrina will complete final touch-ups for the bridal party. There is a minimum call-out fee of 5 people for all Friday & Saturday bookings.
PREVIEWS: Previews are highly recommended and will be conducted at the By Sabrina Walsh studio in Paddington, Brisbane. The cost of the preview is part of your bridal makeup package. A link to book your appointment will be sent 16 weeks before your wedding date. Due to the nature of Sabrina's work, Fridays and weekends are not available for preview appointments. All preview appointments are booked Monday to Wednesday, subject to availability.
TRAVEL FEE'S / PARKING: Travel requiring driving is calculated at $110 per hour. Travel requiring flights, including interstate and international bookings, is calculated separately and quoted in the proposal. All flights, accommodation and required travel arrangements will be booked by Sabrina, with the associated costs included in the proposal. On-site parking must be available and paid for by the Client prior to Sabrina’s arrival. Where on-site parking is unavailable, the closest available parking option must be arranged and paid for by the Client. Clear parking and accessibility instructions must be provided prior to the wedding to ensure a smooth start to the morning and avoid delays.
CANCELLATIONS: Your booking reserves our services exclusively for your wedding date. Cancellations made more than 8 months before the wedding date will result in all payments made being retained, with no further payment required. Cancellations made 8 months or less but more than 60 days before the wedding date will result in all payments being retained, with the Client responsible for any difference required to reach 50% of the original booking total. Cancellations within 60 days will result in all payments being retained, with the Client responsible for any difference required to reach 100% of the original booking total. Any request to cancel, postpone, change or transfer the booking will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking. Any new date is subject to availability and requires a new $300 booking fee. Bookings are non-transferable and may not be transferred or assigned to another person.

TRAVEL, PARKING & SURCHARGES
TRAVEL FEES: Travel is calculated at a fixed rate of $100 per hour. Custom packages will be prepared and sent to the client including all travel expenses (flights/accommodation for destination weddings).
PARKING: The client is responsible for organizing and paying for parking and tolls. If paid parking is required, this must be provided for before arrival, or validated on-site before the Artist's departure. Any undisclosed parking fees will be invoiced separately to the client.
EARLY MORNING FEES: Arrivals before 6:00 am for Bridal bookings incur a fixed $400 out-of-hours fee. For Studio bookings, a 20% surcharge applies.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: All bookings incur a 20% surcharge.
DELAYS: Parking or access delays caused by the client’s miscommunication may result in shortened service time or inability to complete all booked services.
LATE ARRIVALS: Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled at the team's discretion, as there may be insufficient time to complete the booked service to the required standard. In these circumstances, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation/no-show and all applicable fees remain payable.
OUTSTANDING PAYMENTS: Any outstanding fees must be settled in full before a client may make or secure a new booking with the By Sabrina Walsh team.
HEALTH & SAFETY
HEALTH & REFUSAL OF SERVICE: The team reserves the right to refuse service if a client displays contagious symptoms (e.g., heavy coughing, sneezing, respiratory distress, vomiting, or cold sores). If the Artist determines the client is too unwell to proceed, the appointment will be terminated immediately. In these circumstances, the booking fee is forfeited. A partial refund of the remaining service fee may be issued at the team's sole discretion.
ALLERGIES: Clients must disclose all allergies/sensitivities in advance; the team is not liable for incidental or consequential allergic reactions.
CHILDREN: Must be supervised by a separate adult at all times and are not permitted in the service area due to heavy/electrical equipment.
GIFT VOUCHERS & COUPON CODES
GIFT VOUCHERS: Minimum purchase of $50. Valid for 12 months. Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The team is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.
COUPON CODES: Not applicable to any Bridal services or previews. Only valid for studio bookings during the addressed timeframe. If a code is not entered at checkout, reimbursements will not be made.
LEGAL & LIABILITY
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the rare event the Artist is unavailable, the team will endeavor to find a suitable replacement. Liability is strictly limited to a refund of monies paid for the affected date only. The team is not liable for any consequential damages or secondary costs.
FORCE MAJEURE & WEATHER: The team is not liable for failure to perform due to extreme weather or government restrictions. Payments remain on file; no refunds will be issued. Clients acknowledge that weather (humidity/rain) may impact makeup results, and the team cannot guarantee outcomes in these conditions.
IMAGERY: By booking, you acknowledge that the By Sabrina Walsh team reserves the right to take and use photographs or film for portfolio, social media, and promotional use. For Studio and other non-bridal bookings, the team will request verbal consent at the time of the appointment before capturing or sharing content. For Bridal bookings, detailed consent regarding specific data restrictions and the use of professional photography will be gathered via a questionnaire prior to the event date.
